Description
These floss rule phonogram cards are a perfect addition for your phonogram deck. They come in 2 sizes (large and medium) and both sizes come in full color, white background with color image, and black and white.
Help students map their letters and sounds by using multisensory methods. Have students look at each card while simultaneously saying the name of the phonogram(s), the keyword picture, and the sound it makes (Ex: ff-cuff-/f/). Add in the kinesthetic-tactile component by having students trace the letters while saying them. Add these extra steps into the lesson using these cards and you will see the difference with your students!
This product includes:
- 2 Sizes of Floss Rule Phonogram Cards:
- Large (5.5 x 8.5)- two cards on each sheet
- Medium (3.5 x 5)- four cards on each sheet
- Both sizes (large and medium) contain three sets of cards
- Set 1- color images with white backgrounds: only keyword picture that coordinates with its phonogram is in full color.
- Set 2- color images with color backgrounds: all keyword pictures are in full color with a turquoise background, which indicates they are consonants (consistent with theme of other phonogram cards from The Multisensory Classroom)
- Set 3- black and white images with white backgrounds
Each of the above sets also comes with a file of single-sided and double-sided phonogram cards. When the double-sided cards are printed (by setting printer to print on both sides of the paper), they will have the phonogram and keyword picture on the front side and just the phonogram on the back side; the single-sided cards only have the phonogram and keyword picture on the one side.
