Blends Word Cards
Students need many opportunities to practice decoding words as they are learning to read. Using word cards where the specific phonogram or phonics rule is highlighted helps students quickly identify the applicable phonogram or rule being taught, providing immediate and isolated practice in that reading skill.

This set of cards includes both nonsense and real words for teaching and assessing the blends and clusters. All words also come in red and in black and white. The targeted phonograms are in red (in the red set) and are underlined (in the black and white set).
