Description
Students need many opportunities to sound out words as they are learning to read. But the process of teaching a student to decode can be challenging. It doesn’t have to be this way! Teaching the phonograms (letters and their associated sounds) in isolation and highlighting them in words breaks down the decoding process and helps students see how phonograms work within words. It also helps the teacher quickly identify any specific phonograms a student has not mastered. These word cards highlight every phonogram that is typically taught in a K-2 reading/phonics program and is perfect for tutors, homeschool parents, and classroom teachers.
